The sermon's done so I'm semi-watching pre-season football and waiting for the kiln to get to cone 6 (about 2100 degrees F). I can't make myself care very much about SD vs. STL. I'm a Bears fan and a Colts fan. Mudstang94 told me -- through his Mom -- that I have to choose one and only one team before the real season begins. I guess if that's the way it has to be then the Bears will be number one and the Colts a close number two. After all, after four years in Chicago I have come to love da Bears. Not to mention the Cubs. Leading their division and barely over .500. But I knpw they'll collapse at the end. They are, after all, the Cubs.

Made a negative air pressure vent system for the kiln. Seemed to work OK -- no oder in the kiln room. On the other hand it might have made it a little too cool in the kiln. We seem stuck on yellow-orange on the way to yellow then yellow-white. I've turned off the vent (we've already burned off the organics in the clay) and am waiting to see if it gets hotter.
